Ornel Diesel Drive Pump set
Ornel Diesel Drive Pump set
All Ornel Floodlifter axial flow turbine pumps and Ornel Vertical turbine pumps can be powered by Diesel engine sets. Diesel Engines transmit power to the pump units through Amarillo right angled drive gearboxes. On inclined installations the diesel engine can be arranged inline with pump to transmit power directly to the drive shaft.
Ornel diesel powered pump sets are used in areas where power is unavailable or potential supply of power to the site is prohibitive. Ornel diesel powered pumps are an efficient and cost effective way of pumping water.
Electric Drive Pump Set
Ornel Electric Drive Pump set
All Ornel Floodlifter axial flow turbine pumps and Ornel Vertical turbine pumps can be powered by Electric motors. Electric motors, in general, are bolted directly to the top of the pump set and in line with the drive shaft. The torque from the motor is transmitted through a cone ring flexible coupling. Electric motors are selected and matched to the required pump speed and in some cases Variable Speed Drives are used to achieve specific speeds.
Electric powered pump sets can be used on mains powered or generator powered sites. Electric powered pumps, on mains power, are an efficient and cost effective way of pumping water.
Ornel Submersible Vertical Turbine Pump
Ornel Submersible Electric
Ornel Floodlifter and Ornel Vertical Turbine Pumps are able to be fitted to any standard submersible electric motor. This adaptability ensures that in flood pumping arrangements installation infrastructure costs can be reduced as the pump and motor combination can be fully submerged. In bore pumping installations high volume flow rates can be extracted from smaller bore casing sizes.
E-driven via Hydraulic circuits for remote adaptable installations
Ornel Submersible Hydraulic
Ornel’s range of Floodlifter and Vertical turbine pumps can be fitted to standard hydraulic motors to allow for remote and adaptable pumping. This adaptability allows the pump to be placed in variable positions and operated remotely and fully submersed via a diesel power pack supplying hydraulic pressure through a flywheel mounted hydraulic pump.
